Buybacks, odds & shipping
What you're buying
Each digital pack contains exactly one real, professionally graded sports card that JB.CardCollector already owns and stores. Every physical card has its own ID, so the card you see is the exact card you own.
How odds work
Every card left in a pack has an equal chance of being pulled. The odds shown on each pack page are calculated live from the cards still in that pack, so they change as cards are pulled. The card is chosen on our server with a secure random number and saved before the opening animation starts, so refreshing or closing the page can't change your result.
Buybacks
Right after you pull a card you get a buyback offer, currently 90% of the card's listed market value. The offer is locked in at the moment you pull and is valid for 7 days. If you accept, the amount is added to your wallet as buyback credit and the card goes back to our inventory.
How market values are set
Each card has a listed market value and the date it was last updated, based on recent comparable sales of the same card and grade. During this prototype, values are placeholders and not real comps.
Your vault
Cards you keep stay in our vault, stored and tracked under your account. You can ship them or sell them back from your vault anytime (buyback only while the offer is valid).
Shipping
Request shipping for one or many vaulted cards at once. Shipping is $5.00 for the first card and $1.00 for each additional card in the same order. Tracking appears on your shipping page once it's sent.
Your balance
Your wallet shows cash, buyback credit, and promo credit separately. Promo credit is never withdrawable. This prototype uses simulated test funds only: no real money is charged or paid out.
